Edgar Saakyan is a pianist, composer and music producer.
He began playing the piano from childhood. Seeing the child's passion for music and good abilities, his parents sent him to study in St. Petersburg. During his studies, Edgar regularly performed and participated in competitions and master classes, during which his passion for composing emerged. 
 

The author of piano arrangements of famous Armenian folk pieces, such as 'Erzrumi Shoror', 'Bingyol', 'Sari Sirun Yar' and others. The videos with the performance of these pieces on the artist's official channel have received many positive reviews. In 2025, a collection of music sheets with 11 original arrangements of Armenian folk pieces for piano was released.
 

The composer creates music in a mixture of neoclassical, electronic and ambient genres. In his music, wide minimalist piano melodies, colored with Armenian flavor, are mixed with electronics, deep bass and beat. The composer has both electroacoustic compositions and compositions for piano which seems to have been created to be a soundtrack.

Edgar lives in St. Petersburg, Russia. He graduated from the St. Petersburg Conservatory. He is engaged in music production for performers, as well as mixing and mastering. The author writes all the compositions himself.
